From the recording Facing The Wall
Lyrics
This year if it cares it could take you there
So it goes another year has passed
Hearts if they're warm they wont do you harm
I know this winter cannot last
Wash the words right out of me
Pull up the rug and sweep me under it
I know I'm easier to hide
I am a picture hung up facing the wall
And you see my other side
Doubt turns to fear, and calls you out, then disappears, it's only
A mouth without a face
Everyday I break, and sleep on it, when I wake, it's lonely
Putting pieces in their place
First the trap is set, then I fall into it, then it lays me down.
Some bad luck I guess, or just a bad misstep, it calls me out
And if our lines don't cross, might be a total loss, yeah it weighs me down
But since breath gave birth, to this dust of the earth, we slowly fall to the ground
