Lonestar Sailing is a band out of Buffalo, NY with Nate Campese (drums), Matt Swanekamp (guitar), and the brothers Charles (guitar & vocals) and Phil Dusel (bass).

The most recent work is a full length album Sad Bones released in 2021 that was recorded at Lone Sound Studio, mixed and produced by Lonestar Sailing and mastered by Karl Peterson. 

They released their first self titled album in 2014 (recorded and performed by Charles in a home studio) and a full band 5 song EP (recorded at California Road Studios) which was released independently in August 2017.

The CD Release for the Facing The Wall EP took place on August 24th 2017 at The 9th Ward, part of Babeville in Buffalo, NY. The band was able to draw a large crowd with 100 people in attendance, the show and EP have since received overwhelmingly positive reviews. 

The Lonestar Sailing sound crosses several genres including guitar driven rock, folk, blues and americana. Similar artists include Ryan Adams, Counting Crows, Pedro The Lion and Jason Isbell.
